Established in 1991, we are an Alberta not-for-profit industry association, dedicated to sustainable plastics recycling and to minimizing plastic waste to landfill. APRA facilitates the development of sustainable programs to effectively manage plastics waste and acts as a resource to Alberta Municipalities, companies, interest groups and individuals.

Its membership consists of plastics resin producers, plastic manufacturers, fabricators and converters, packagers and fillers of plastic products, wholesalers and retailers of plastic products and products in plastics packaging, and plastics recyclers and the recycling community.

ARPA is affiliated with The Environment and Plastics Industry Council (EPIC) www.plastics.ca/epic/, a council of Canadian Plastic Industry Association (CPIA) www.cpia.ca.
